Direct Thermal Labels are cost effective but doesn’t long last as Thermal Transfer Labels. They are ideal for short term use such as dispatch, shipping, and library due dates etc. They last a few months and exposure to heat for longer times will influence its life span. They can be printed by thermal printers and NO Thermal Ribbons are needed during the process.
